If you are visiting Tortola on a cruise ship, avoid the crowds and let us take you out on your own private boat!
We can meet you at Village Cay Marina, right in front of the cruise ship dock, and take you to a nearby island for a dive, snorkel or island-hopping adventure that you'll remember as the best day of your cruise. The private service means you can visit places free from other cruise ship passengers and see "Natures Little Secrets" as they were meant to be seen. We provide all equipment, instruction, guided tours, drinks and towels so you only need bring yourselves and maybe a pair of sunglasses and a hat!
You can choose from a morning or afternoon trip, or treat yourself to a full day trip, making two dives/snorkels at some of our spectacular wreck or reef sites, enjoying lunch at an island restaurant then stopping off for another snorkel or swim before returning in time for your ship's departure.
If you want to dive the Wreck of the RMS Rhone, visit The Baths on Virgin Gorda or dive/snorkel at Ginger, Cooper, Salt or Dead Chest islands, you'll need to take a taxi from the cruise ship dock to the dive center - a 10 minute ride - from where your boat will depart. Please let us know if you'd like us to book a taxi in advance for you.
Does your group have varying interests? We can tailor-make your trip to keep everybody happy!
It is not uncommon to have a group with varying interests or experience - some may want to try scuba diving for the first time, some may be making their Open Water 'check out' dives, some may already be certified while others may be avid snorkelers or just content to admire the scenery. Contact us to discuss how we might combine an introductory Discover Scuba Diving experience for those that aren't certified with a single or two-tank dive for those that are at a location that's also suitable for snorkeling.
For further details of all our trips, see the Prices, Snorkeling and Island Hopping pages of this website or contact us to discuss how we can tailor-make your day in the beautiful British Virgin Islands.
A $10 docking fee will be added for all pick-ups at Village Cay Marina.
Please note that here in the British Virgin Islands we work on Atlantic Standard Time all year round. Our pick-up times are quoted in Local Time, not Ship's Time. When you make your reservation, please double-check with your cruise line at what time your ship will be docking in Local Time as this will help avoid delays and confusion for all concerned!
Photograpic Service
If you’d like a personalized photo record of your day out on the water in the British Virgin Islands, we can provide you with a photo montage taken with our Sea Life cameras from above and below the surface. We’ll put the photos on disc and send them to your home address for just $50 (inclusive of disc and shipping costs). Or if you are starting your trip from the dive center, we will download the photos for you when you return so you can take them away with you for just $40. They say a picture is equal to a thousand words - what better way to remember the best day out of your vacation! Just let us know you are interested when you make your reservation.
Gratuities
Our instructors work very hard to give you the safest and most enjoyable experience out on the water. If you think they did a good job and would like to show your appreciation by leaving a gratuity, it is customary to tip 10-20% for dive services here in the BVI.
